Three Reasons You Should NOT Be Here

Hi, I’m Stephanie Minor.

I always chuckle when I look at the “about me” page on websites like this because they’re often written in the third person …even though they’re usually written by the the owner of the site. So after Stephanie Minor made several attempts to sound smarter than she really is by writing about herself in the third person, she quickly abandoned that approach and decided to write this page like it was a letter to a friend. Which …in many ways, it is. Anyway – what do you want to know?

I’m 50 years old. I live in the Palm Springs area with my daughter, Chloe.

We have a cat named, Kitty. I’m guessing that’s not the kind of stuff you’re looking for. You’re probably wondering, is This Lady Worth My Time And Attention?

For many readers, my answer is NO.

I cannot help you solve ALL of your problems in  a single bound.

For some reason, many people equate online help and products as something that is going to instantly change their reality. Well, that isn't the case.


I am here to help you,  and I'm excited to work with you. Together, we will change things for the better for your nonprofit. But, you have to be willing to work, experience some frustration, and ultimately, persevere!  So, if you are not prepared to commit to putting in effort and taking massive action, I am not your girl.

If you’re looking for “The Easy Way," I don’t want

to help you.

It’s important you understand what I mean here.


I can help you, I just won’t. I’m capable of it, but I refuse to do it.




Because when someone says, “What’s the easiest way," what I’m hearing is, “I’m not fully invested in the long term success of my nonprofit, and I don't really believe in myself …


And that really translates to “I don’t want to work, at least not too hard, anyway."


Look, fundrasiing and having a leadership role in a nonprofit organization is HARD WORK, even in the best of times! With everything going on the world right now, you have to be prepared to put in the work. You have to have the desire to get people (read: donors) to know, like and trust you. That takes time and effort. 

If you are not willing to think outside of the box or try something new, we are not a good fit.



We are facing unprecedented times! That means thinking about and doing things in a different way. If you are not willing to take a leap of faith, and believe in YOURSELF and what you can accomplish to help further advance your nonprofit's mission and the wonderful work you do, I am not your girl.  If, however, you are realize that the world needs you, and you need and want to keep pushing forward, Let's Do This!

See, I know that as nonprofit profressionals, we invest in and think about others before we ever think of ourselves. I want to make it easy for you to be able to get some real value without having to pay for it. But then, I want you to invest in yourself and your agency, buy purchasing some of the important and useful resources I offer.
